For those with Labor Approved – What should I do when the Priority date will be current?

Priority dates for those with approved labor applications could become current at any time due to a comprehensive immigration reform bill that is now pending with law makers. If the bill passes it could cause all priority dates to become current. This would allow for you to file for your green card without waiting.

The details of the comprehensive Immigration reform bill are now out and law makers should come to a decision within the next few weeks.

Based on our experience, when priority dates become current many of our clients have trouble obtaining their birth certificates. We recommend that you get a birth certificate from the appropriate authorities as soon as possible. If you are unable to get a birth certificate please follow the directions provided in the link below.

We will diligently monitor the progress of this bill and will be sure to keep all interested parties apprised of the situation. We hope that this opportunity will materialize and will be taken advantage of by all. We look forward to assisting you in any way we can through this unique turn of events.
