September 27, 2019 - Partner Rebecca Chen and Attorney Cathy Liu attended the Joint Networking Event hosted by the World Chamber of Commerce at the Intercontinental Houston. As members of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, this event was an opportunity to meet members of all the different Chambers of Commerce and learn about each organization's activities in Houston.

September 26, 2019 - Attorney Kristina M. Hernandez attended the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Annual Convention in New York City and was selected to the Leadership Academy of the Latina Commission of the HNBA. The HNBA is the largest national association of Latinx legal professionals – attorneys, judges, law professors, paralegals, law students, legal assistants and other related professionals – in the United States and its territories. The HNBA’s multifaceted mission includes the monitoring and advancement of substantive legal issues that impact Hispanic legal professional and the U.S. Latinx population.

September 12, 2019 - Alumni Ryan Wilck, Vy Hoang, Ashley Thomas, and Camille Joson returned to South Texas College of Law Houston for the school's Networking Night & Law Firm Connection event. The team represented Reddy & Neumann, P.C. and spoke with students about working in the field of business immigration.

September 12, 2019 - Attorney Vy Hoang attended HYLA's First Generation Attorneys Meet & Greet at the Historic Sunset Coffee Building to recognize the first in their families to pursue a career in the law. 

September 9, 2019 - Attorneys Vy Hoang, Kristina M. Hernandez, and Justin Rivera were sworn in and admitted as attorneys to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. 

September 6, 2019 - Attorneys Steven Brown, Kristina M. Hernandez, Vy Hoang, and Justin Rivera along with Counsel for Litigation Jonathan D. Wasden of Reddy & Neumann, P.C. have filed suit on behalf of several short H-1B approvals in which USCIS has established a new trend of granting approvals for less than the period requested in the Form I-129, essentially partially denying the request.

August 30, 2019 - Attorney Kristina M. Hernandez represented Reddy & Neumann, P.C. at the UNCF Mayor’s Luncheon. UNCF’s mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who, because of UNCF support, become highly-qualified college graduates and to ensure that their network of member institutions is a respected model of best practice in moving students to and through college.  

August 21, 2019 - Attorneys Kristina M. Hernandez and Vy Hoang represented Reddy & Neumann, P.C. at the MabaTX Foundation Scholarship Luncheon. The MABATx Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to encourage justice and leadership within the Hispanic community. Each year scholarships are awarded to law students from each of the three Houston-based law schools. The Luncheon also honors pioneers of the community who exemplify the ideals of the foundation.

August 8, 2019 - Attorneys Krystal Alanis and Amanda Cardwell conducted a free webinar regarding the Employment-Based Green Card in the EB-1 and EB-2 Context.   

July 20, 2019 - Attorney Vy Hoang volunteered for the AABA, HVL, and VN Teamwork's Pro Bono Wills Clinic. Through the sponsorship of the Asian-American Bar Association and Houston Volunteer Lawyers, which is a pro bono legal aid arm of the Houston Bar Association, VN Teamwork hosted a pro bono wills clinic to assist Vietnamese-speaking US citizens to create their own living will. Established in 1996, VN Teamwork is a non-profit serving the Asian-American residents in Harris County. With the second-largest Vietnamese population in the country, VN Teamwork provides services to non-English speaking people with limited resources, including recent immigrants, refugees, evacuees relocated in Houston, senior residents, etc.

June 19 - 22, Partner Rahul Reddy and Attorneys Ryan Wilck, Justin Rivera and Zachary Taylor attended the 2019 AILA Annual Conference on Immigration Law in Orlando, FL. Over 3,000 attorneys from around the world attended the four-day event, which included nearly 150 sessions and special events.

June 4, 2019 - Reddy & Neumann, P.C. welcomes the newest addition to our Immigration Litigation Team, Counsel for Litigation Jonathan Wasden! Jon brings his experience at the US Department of Justice, Civil Division, Office of Immigration Litigation-District Court Section, where he litigated cases in 17 district courts and 3 circuit courts across the country. His last position in government was with the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), focusing on employment-based immigration legal issues.

October 31, 2018 – The Reddy & Neumann, P.C. team came to work dressed up and competed in the annual costume competition for this year’s Thriller-themed Halloween Party. Paralegal Saadia Hashmi won the scariest costume award, and Paralegal Jose Hernandez won the most creative costume award.

August 22, 2018 – Attorney Kristina M. Hernandez attended and gave opening remarks at the MABATx Foundation Scholarship Luncheon. The MABATx Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to encourage justice and leadership within the Hispanic community. Each year scholarships are awarded to law students from each of the three Houston-based law schools. The Luncheon also honors pioneers of the community who exemplify the ideals of the foundation.

August 10, 2018 – For the second time this year, Partner Emily Neumann was named Top 10 Best Texas Immigration Attorney Award of 2018 by Attorney and Practice Magazine.

June 13-16, 2018 – Partner Rebecca Chen and Attorneys Steven Brown and Amanda Cardwell attended the AILA Annual Conference in San Francisco, California. This annual conference is the largest event for immigration attorneys in the United States, allowing lawyers from all aspects of immigration law to come together and share ideas on how to address new challenges facing immigration practitioners.

May 5, 2018 – Attorney Vy Hoang participated in the MD Anderson Sprint for Life 5K Run/Walk to support the fight to end ovarian cancer by way of funding for clinical and transitional research, as well as grants for new areas of research that improve detection, prevention, treatment, and positively impact survivorship.

USRCC supports the US Department of Commerce, the City of Houston, and the Texas business community, maintaining, strengthening, and growing the ties in industries of mutual interest and foster business growth of Russian and American companies.

May 1, 2018 – Partner Emily Neumann was named by American Institute of Legal Counsel’s Top 10 Best Texas Immigration Attorney Award of 2018.

April 9, 2018 – Attorney Paloma Stevens attended the Texas Children’s Cancer Center’s 13th Anniversary of An Evening with a Legend honoring NBA Legend, Shaquille O’Neal. The annual event raised critical funds for pediatric cancer research at Texas Children’s Cancer Center, which is the largest pediatric cancer and blood disease treatment program in the United States.

March 23, 2018 – Law Clerk Brenda Aguilar attended the Hispanic Law Students Association (HLSA) Gala, an annual event organized by the three Houston area law schools. This event recognizes the achievements of the organization and honors the accomplishments of our alumni, as well as awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving 1L, 2L, 3L students at each Houston law school. As the Vice President of South Texas College of Law’s HLSA, Brenda Aguilar aided in organizing meetings, events, scholarship opportunities, and the annual Heritage Hispanic event for our current students and STCL alumni.

March 12, 2018 – Attorney Kristina M. Hernandez was sworn in as President of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston (MABAH), one of the largest Hispanic legal organizations in the State of Texas.

March 7-10, 2018 – Law Clerk Ashley Thomas competed in the 2018 INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament in Chicago, Illinois. The team won 1st Place Client/Advocate Team and 5th Place for Best Mediator, led by our own Ashley Thomas.

March 2, 2018 – Reddy & Neumann, P.C. donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in support of the Gulf Coast Student of the Year campaign. The LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer, and their mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, and Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
