Visa Revocations for Students Employed with Integra Technologies, LLC OR Aztech Technologies LLC

F-1 students have been receiving visa revocation notices from consulates in India under 221(i) when they were previously approved for OPT or the STEM extension with Integra Technologies, LLC or AZTech Technologies, LLC. There are many instances where people were deported where an individual had an employment offer letter from Integra Technologies or AZTech Technologies. A copy of an email from the Mumbai Consulate regarding visa revocation is below:

According to ICE’s SEVP data, Integra Technologies, LLC, based in Wilmington Delaware, was reported to have 3,517 students for pre-and post-completion OPT. The allegations by the State Department and CBP is that there is a pattern of practice involved that Integra Technologies would ask students to pay the company for pre-employment training. In exchange, the company would provide an employment offer letter so that the student could apply for and eventually receive an OPT EAD card. Similarly, AZTech Technologies, LLC was one of the top employers with OPT and STEM OPT students, employing 1,165 students in the OPT and STEM OPT training program. There was also a pattern of AZTech Technologies, LLC asking students to pay for their own OPT training.

If a false employment offer letter was used, and a visa has been revoked at a later date due to the false employment offer letter, it is possible that there could be a finding of fraud or misrepresentation associated with the visa application.  It must be noted that upon the finding of fraud or misrepresentation in this context may lead the applicant to be found inadmissible and permanently barred from entering the U.S. There is a possibility of a waiver of inadmissibility, such as when the applicant demonstrates that a U.S. citizen or lawful performance resident spouse or parent would face extreme hardship if the applicant is removed from or denied a visa to enter the U.S. However, these types of extreme hardship waivers are available under limited circumstances and are warranted as a matter of discretion.

If you have any questions regarding the consequences of a finding of fraud or misrepresentation with regards to your visa application, speak to a qualified immigration attorney.
