UPCOMING WEBINAR – Mastering the Schedule-A Green Card Process

Reddy Neumann Brown PC invites you to join our FREE Webinar “Mastering the Schedule A-Green Card Process” on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm CST.

For certain occupations, the Department of Labor (DOL) has predetermined there are not sufficient U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available pursuant to regulation. These occupations are referred to as Schedule-A occupations. Because of the occupational shortage of these U.S. workers, DOL has “pre-certified” Schedule-A occupations. This means that an employer who wishes to hire a person for a Schedule-A occupation is not required to conduct a test of the labor market and apply for a permanent labor certification with DOL. Rather, this employer must apply for Schedule-A designation by submitting an application for permanent labor certification to USCIS in conjunction with an I-140 immigrant petition.

In this webinar, we will discuss:

  • which occupations qualify for Schedule-A filing,
  • the petition requirements when the labor certification is “pre-certified”,
  • prevailing wage determinations,
  • the Notice of Filing,
  • the Health Care Worker Certification, and
  • state licensure requirements.
