On Monday, August 30th, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center conducted a blood drive hosted by Reddy Neumann Brown PC at its office in Houston, TX. In order to support the Blood Center’s mission, Reddy & Neumann encouraged team members to donate blood and help save lives.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center needs 1,000 donations every day of the year to serve patients in our community. One person can save up to three lives by donating just one pint of blood.

Blood donations are also incredibly important for kids, teens, and young adults battling cancer. The National Cancer Institute estimates that more than 15,000 children and adolescents in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer each year. Childhood cancer patients may need blood products on a regular basis during chemotherapy, surgery or treatment for complications. 

As September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Reddy & Neumann encourages their partners, clients and friends to donate blood if they get the chance to do so. Learn more at https://www.giveblood.org/
